Online Counseling

For online counseling, check out the National SCORE website. Fill out the form, ask your business question, and a SCORE counselor will get back to you within 48 hours. You'll find counselors listed by area of expertise and geographic location.

Workshops

Several organizations offer training for people who are starting, running, or growing a business. Some are on-line, some are self-paced, and others are held at local facilities. Some are run by SCORE or by SCORE and other partners.

Maine Business Works offers online workshops developed by SCORE, the Small Business Development Centers, the universities, the community colleges, the SBA, Women's Business centers, and the Maine Technology Institute.

The Small Business Development Center offers self-paced, on-line training for anyone starting a business, developing a business plan, and interested in learning the basics of financial management
